Oh my..........

Just adopted a new member to our family. Cocker Spaniel from our local shelter. Very sweet adorable dog which everyone loves even our Maggie Dog. The only problem is this.... Maya is very jealous of our Maggie. We've been slowly introducing them together but the growling continues. Maya has just been spayed and shaved this last weekend because of matting. She was an abused dog which we are finding out more and more each passing day. I've tried all types of dog food (wet and dry)but the only thing she is willing to eat is bread, and sandwich meat. Not even a mixture of rice, egg, and broth. We just came back from a very very short walk outside. Both dogs on leashes. Maggie first than miya behind her. Went really well until I decided to walk side by side. What should be the next step in her recovery. Love to hear everyones comments.
