Hi,

I have a 12 year old Cocker and she started getting warts about 3-4 years ago and every 6-8 months we have to take her in to get them removed. I don't like the idea of putting her under anesthesia twice a year but she gets them in places where she can lick and bite them and we have no other choice but to have them removed.

I have read that warts are very common in older Cockers and I'm hoping someone out there has some suggestions on alternative treatments or can recommend a Vet that isn't too expensive. The last place I took her gave me an estimate of about $450 to remove 2 warts on her paws.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!
Marisa & Moppie :)
