Join fellow Spaniel enthusiasts (and their dogs!) for a leisurely get together. Our Oceanside Spaniel Social happens once monthly. For about an hour, our Spaniels can mingle and romp in the enclosed safety of a local fenced-in dog park. This is a great opportunity to bond with your canine companion while providing socialization skills - not to mention a chance to show off the apple of your eye!
Stop by the event table to sign up and pick out a free doggie bandana - the Social is free... although donations are accepted. And spread the word - this afternoon is all about the Spaniels and those of us who love them ... not just for the rescued dogs in our lives.
The first 10 "yes" RSVPs also can pick up their free goodie bag at the check-in table as well. And all "yes" and "maybe" RSVPers who show up are entered to win the door prize for the night. Come have some fun!
Oceanside Dog Park is adjacent to the North County Humane Society.
The Fine Print - aka Park Rules: non-aggressive doggies only * no more than 3 dogs per human * no dogs under 12 weeks age * all dogs must be currently licensed and UTD on rabies vax, with current tags visible on collar * children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult * children must ask permission before approaching unknown dogs * all dogs must stay on leash until in fenced area * pick-up baggies provided, please clean up after your dog * all dogs must have a collar (no pinch or choke collars allowed) * Oceanside Dog Park requires animals to be spayed/neutered * no children under age six at Oceanside Dog Park.

I really enjoy putting these together and all the great people and Spaniels that attend.
    •  Vince is doing a great job with the meet ups. I enjoy coming to these events.
    •  We thoroughly enjoyed it. People were friendly and anxious to share their experience and expertise. The dogs had access to water, a large fenced area, their owners and strangers, treats, and each other, or not! The size of the park allowed for animals to interact or remain a bit detached. The bounty of beautiful animals and loving-hearted people also served as a great backdrop for the finalization of Daphne's adoption. Friendly people and animals in a safe environment! Thanks to all who work to create these events.
