Join fellow Spaniel enthusiasts (and their dogs!) for a leisurely get together. Our Oceanside Spaniel Social happens once monthly. For about an hour, our Spaniels can mingle and romp in the enclosed safety of a local fenced-in dog park. This is a great opportunity to bond with your canine companion while providing socialization skills - not to mention a chance to show off the apple of your eye!
Stop by the event table to sign up and pick out a free doggie bandana - the Social is free... although donations are accepted. And spread the word - this afternoon is all about the Spaniels and those of us who love them ... not just for the rescued dogs in our lives.
The first 10 "yes" RSVPs also can pick up their free goodie bag at the check-in table as well. And all "yes" and "maybe" RSVPers who show up are entered to win the door prize for the night. Come have some fun!
Oceanside Dog Park is adjacent to the North County Humane Society.
The Fine Print - aka Park Rules: non-aggressive doggies only * no more than 3 dogs per human * no dogs under 12 weeks age * all dogs must be currently licensed and UTD on rabies vax, with current tags visible on collar * children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult * children must ask permission before approaching unknown dogs * all dogs must stay on leash until in fenced area * pick-up baggies provided, please clean up after your dog * all dogs must have a collar (no pinch or choke collars allowed) * Oceanside Dog Park requires animals to be spayed/neutered * no children under age six at Oceanside Dog Park.

Thanks to all of you who drove down from Long Beach & Orange Co. - it was great to meet all of you! Dusty, Angelo & I had a really good time. Angelo LOVED playing "chase" with Peanut - he hopes he can get together again sometime with Peanut!

We would love to come but our son is 2.5 years old.. they don't allow kids under 6. Nigel and Sophie are doing great! Sophie is managing her hemalytic anemia with medication just fine!

Sorry, we won't be able to make this one. I'm taking my foster dog, Muffin to meet her potential new mommy on Saturday.

What a great turnout. Thanks to all of you who traveled so near and far!
    •  Had a great time, as did Chase and Lucy....They were exhausted after their first, cocker party.
    •  It was great seeing all the different cockers. We had a lot of people from Long Beach down to San Diego show up. Poppy and I had a really great time.

We love meeting other cocker spaniel owners and Jack enjoys playing with friends like him! Vince is a great coordinator and it's a perfect location to meet people around the area!

Outside of the bee swarm we had a great time, nice park and great people. Loved the door prizes and the "kids" loved their treats in the bag.
