Join fellow Spaniel enthusiasts (and their dogs!) for a leisurely get together. Our Spaniel Social happens once monthly. For about an hour, our Spaniels can mingle and romp in the enclosed safety of a local fenced-in dog park. This is a great opportunity to bond with your canine companion while providing socialization skills - not to mention a chance to show off the apple of your eye! Stop by the event table to sign up and pick out a free doggie bandana - the Social is free although donations are accepted. And spread the word - this night is all about the Spaniels and those of us who love them ... not just for the rescued dogs in our lives. The first 10 "yes" RSVPs also can pick up their free goodie bag at the check-in table as well. And all "yes" and "maybe" RSVPers who show up are entered to win the door prize for the night. Come have some fun! Harry Griffin Park is in La Mesa, located at 9550 Milden Street. When you enter the park, follow the drive all the way to the final parking lot in the back. You'll see the fenced in doggie area to your left. The Fine Print - aka Park Rules: non-aggressive doggies only * no more than 2 dogs per human * no dogs under 12 weeks age * all dogs must be currently licensed and UTD on rabies vax, with current tags visible on collar * children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult * children must ask permission before approaching unknown dogs * large side for dogs 30# and over, smaller side for dogs under 30# * all dogs must stay on leash until in fenced area * pick-up baggies provided, please clean up after your dog * no dogs in heat, please For more information, see http://www.freeloadm p3.com/
