To all of you who have been to the Meet ups with us in San Diego, I just wanted to let you know about the passing of one of our cockers, Lexy. Cindy B let me know that someone left her gate open and Lexy got out and was hit by a car. They were not able to
save her life. Lexy's picture will be posted on the May 2, 2009 meet up photos.

This is heartbreaking... :( I am very sorry for her loss... I would be crushed if this happened to me and my dog.

I am missing all the cockers. I was down with a virus, Roscoe and I hope to see you all in June.

Words cannot convey how sorry that we are for your terrible loss; our dogs are our children. We can only say that we completely understand how you must feel. Cindy B, Rachna and Kenya and I are new to the group and we wanted to offer our condolences. Although we never met her, we can tell from her photo that Lexy was a sweetheart! Please try to remember that the loss you feel is in direct proportion to the love you shared with Lexy. Know that the loss will fade but the love never will.
